Diffrent maples

I just saw a youtube video and they were talking about tapping all kinds of maple trees. Does this make the syrup diffrent or does everyone do this. The past few years i have only been tapping the sugar maples. Man my numbers could go way up if tapping other maple trees is whats normaly done. Thanks......Jim

Tap them all!!!!! Maybe lower sugar in the reds and silvers but..............

We have always tapped all maples.
