RO dilema

I need some input.I ordered a brand new RO in may of 2012,I was told delivery would be Oct,Nov time.End of june they were calling to deliver it,I was not ready for it as I was told it had to be built and it would be around Oct time.I made room to store it while I built my ro room.I was doing some research on the unit and come to find out it was made Feb,2011.Is this considered a left over?I know if it were an auto mobile it would be.If it is what should be some suggestions of action to take?

What is the name brand..... ie. CDL, Lapierre, springtech etc.

And is it one that was used that would be my first question.

I do not want to throw any names out yet.
I just got off the phone with the manufacture and I was told it was built for demo.Now I am really agitated about it.I was at Verona this weekend and looked at the same model and it was built in 6/2012.Some of my concern's are is it used,how many shows bouncing around in a truck,diff upgrades,diff in pricing from one year to the next and the list goes on.Trust in the company is a big factor.

The age since built shouldn't cause any problems, the only thing that comes to mind might be dry seals but I doubt it. If you ordered from a dealer with the understanding that you were buying a new RO from the factory and you got what you got, I suspect the dealer got a price break and you didn't.

I would definatly wreak havoc on them IF you ordered a NEW RO. That right there should be legal action in my opinion and I am not the type to jump to that extreme on most cases at all. That means that you paid full price for what you thought was new equipment and you got used equipment. Demo models are used equipment. If nothing else, I would make them give you a refund of some sort basically the difference between new and used

Thanks for the input.I spoke to the co-owner of the company and he is sending a brand new unit to replace the one I got.
