Once sugar sand has formed will it dissolve again?I wouldn't think so but i don't know so that's why i'm asking. thanks

sugar sand once it is formed it does not dissolve. It is the result of the boiling process getting rid of the water and what is left sugatr and minerals. Some minerals are not suspended in the syrup but heavier and larger in size so they settle to the bottom. Not quite the scientific term. I envy you if you only have sugar sand because at my sugar house I get black mud becuase of the heavy clay that the maples grow in. The clay can be a deep as 6 feet under the laom that is on top.
I have about a foot and a half of sandy clay and the clay under that and I get a ton of niter and sugar sand.
