Patti Page will be remembered for her music and her maple

Patti Page died today at 85 and will be remembered for her music, but also for her promotion of maple products. She and her husband had a farm in Bath, NH and made their own organic maple syrup. They also had a sugarbush in Maine. Here's a pic of her products. I also looked up the song "sugarbush", but it was done by Doris Day.

Revi - That was my father-in-law's sugarbush on his father's farm in Bath. He showed me his old sugarhouse a number years ago. Said if his father hadn't starting drinking we'd still own the farm! Bruce

I met her granddaughter last year ,she was at there place in NH and I went there to buy quart and pint jugs .They have Patti on the jug and the name on it was Patti's Page Syrup.Who ever bought the jugs had to sign a waiver not to use the label but to cover it up,very nice people.
