I found a 3x10 small bros. evaporator with raised flues and I was wondering about them if anyone has some imput I would be grateful

Small Brothers were the industry leaders for 75 years until being consumed by the conglomerates ( waterloo/lapierre). The workers, the Algier brothers, left and started their own company, "Algier Evaporator Company". They used basicly all Small Brs. designs. I think the Small Brs. raised flue, reverse flow design is still the best on the market.

That's good to hear I have not been to look at it yet are things to watch for on those evaps

I've had a Small Brothers 3x8 for over 10 years and I love it. Never had any problems with it.

The one thing to relize is that if the pans are indeed Small Brothers that they will be lead soldered because they were out of business before non-lead solder.
