Does anyone have some experience with rain leaking into the smoke stack. During heavy or prolonged steady rain a puddle of water forms on the back part of my arch. From what I can tell the water seams to be rolling down the inside of the stack and coming out either where the stack meets the arch or where the stack base and the first piece of round stack join togather. I have a leader stack cover and roof jack. I used a hi-temp silicone to seal the pipe to the roof jack. I will be away from a computer for a week, therefore I will not be able to answer any questions about the problem until 4/24. Thanks for any help
Jason

Definately not good. Water mixed with the soot will create lye.
Did you install them properly? Seems like if you have a stack cover and keep it closed between boils and have a factory made roof jack it should not leak. Is it stainless or galvenized? maybe you have a hole in it some where.
Try taking a garden hose and spray it to see if you can determine where its coming in.
