Just wondering how you guys cut your fire brick. I started bricking my evaporator today but i need to make some angle cuts and im haveing some trouble trying to figure out how to do it with out cutting off my hand or throwing a hammer through the wall! I put a diamond blade on my skill saw and i can make a good scribe and then use a mason chissle and split it in half and leave a smooth break but how can i do a angle cut? Just wondering what you guys do. I have a wet saw for tile but im not sure if it has enough smoke to go through these bricks. thanks Josh

Tile saw works great with fire brick, goes through split bricks like butter. You can us a tile blade on them as well, makes the cuts clean and look good. You can cut through a brick completely with a skill saw as well.

If you have a steel chop-saw just get a cement disk, I think there in between $10-$20 and cut right through the brick like butter.
