View Full Version : Cheapest place to buy the one handed tool

RMG has one for $92.50 plus over $18.00 for shipping
leader wants $135 plus $8 dollars shipping.
I built my own 2 handed unit today works very slick. But I want a one hander just for installing taps and tying into the tees.

See if you can link to this thread. good pics of a home made one. I made one based on these pics for about 12 bucks, with new pieces from big lots. Maybe search tubing tool.

Honestly I am wanting the pliers without the vice grips.. These are automatic, weigh a lot less too.But thanks.

get one of those, i got one and it works awesome! i even welded on another pair of vice grips so i can use i as a 2 handed tool

Does the lever hold the tubing tight enough?Always?

After I used them some, they would slip a little so I filed the coupling down a bit . Works good now. Darrell
