.... Clan Delaney, WestVirginiaMapler, mapleman3, Justin Turco, and Brent. They were regulars on here back when I joined in 2009. Has anyone heard from any of them?

As far as I know, they just drifted away from the site.

If I remember correctly mapleman3 just had alot of stuff going on, but as for the rest like others they seem to pop up during maple season.
Not much of a maple season last year, and they may have moved on to other things.

Nailed the sugarhouse door shut, sold the stihl, turned the deer rifle in for a few bucks at a government collection site and moved to the city!
Kidding! Still here. It is true though.. I tend to pop up with the season.
We just had our second boil of the season. Praying for a good run this year!

Ahhaa! So you are the other person that watches that video! I thought that I was the only one who watched it! (I've watched it 14,999 times so far.)
Hope you're having a good season. Pretty cold here. Trees are shut down. But we are not done so I'm hopeful.

There's a few people that I recall from when I joined. Clan was one and mapleman3 was another that I recall. I know my son being born and my second job takes a lot of my time but when I need some help and input from fellow maplers, this is the place to go. I was sorry to read last month that Jim (Mapleman3) had to stop sugarin for a time - I know that feeling but it will come back.

It looks like some of the people that were around when I joined are still around but I also think that there were some people that left to start their own forum. I think that one thing that "hurts" is that this site was the original and was the only place to go and there were some that didn't like this or that and started their own forums and "clicks" developed and people got split up. I think there's 3 or 4 different forums now which kind of hurts because you have to go to multiple places or find a home and stick with it. For me, the trader has always been the best place and I prefer to stay around here.
