I just started mine about week ago. I got quite a few likes in this time and it all started by showing my sister and 1 friend.

I plan on posting a lot of pic's at the start of the season and posting boiling days so in any of my customers who are on facebook can stop by for an informal open house.
I am also going to post recipes from time to time, but it will have to wait till I make more syrup. I would hate to get people interested and tehn have to tell them sorry no syrup.

Facebook is ok, you must be careful what you post. folk dont need to know your every move.

I have used Facebook for a couple years or so. It is an easy place to get the word out and post progress. I will like everyone's pages too. I like to find pages to get some ideas. Once you get to 25 likes, you can change your Facebook page name. I will try to find that info.

Yeap, I will not put anything on it that will cause or lead to anyone knowing when I am away or for that matter what my family is doing.
That is why I don't do anything hardly at all with my personnal page, just my maple syrup page.

GMcooper and timberwolf's link goto my Newsfeed when I click on them...and I am logged in to FB...

and FYI... I had to put a phone number in to make the page and didn't like that...you can remove it in the edit section later...

Didn't want spammers to get ahold of my cell phone number...
