Is anyone using one of the diaphragm pumps that Glenn Goodrich sells? I like the idea of no releaser. What are the cons other than low cfm's? At the LEME there was a dealer from Ohio selling the same pump for $595 with out the shrouding. Liked the price but I think I should be able to find it online cheaper. Any thoughts?

I have the electric e200, like it for my little 80 taps but doesn't pull over 16 inches most of the time, and it seems that i'm always replacing diaphragms and other things in the pump. works good for me though and better than gravity. got mine cheap so it worked well.

The Maple Guys sell it for $500. They were at LEME

I ran a peristaltic (hose) pump like the old original SapSuckers for two season on about 250 taps.
It pulled 18" and dumped straight into an open tank with no releaser.

I suspect the downside to the diaphragm style is the same as the SapSucker,
they don't like ice.

By the way mine is out of service and for sale.
