Has anyone tried one of these thermometers?

I just ordered one cause it looked like just the ticket for monitoring stack temp but also alarming me when to refill the arch on those days when the Coors gets the best of me.

Also im rigging up my aof system .. got the high pressure fan and starting to collect the rest of it. In the combustion article i read thats floating around here it says on a wood fired arch use a barometric damper but I can't seem to find anyone who does other than on oil fired arches.. any thoughts?
Thanks Joseph White

I've just discovered they have a stack temp alarm for just over $ 100. with a remote alarm output
that will trigger at high and low temps.

That's something I've wanted for safety on the wood stove for years. Just ordered it.
