12" damper for steam hood, where to find one?

Just looking for a 12" damper for my evaporator steam hood stack. I can find them up to the 10" size but cant find anything in the 12'' size, does anyone know of where to get dampers this big. ( looking for a SS or aluminum ) Thanks Paul

If your search for the larger damper fails, could you cut a disc to the correct diameter and attach it (with screws?) to the original smaller damper? I don't think it would be all that difficult to fabricate a complete new one. Used road signs are a great source of aluminum.

Thanks Larry, I might have to just make one up like you said. I never thought about old road signs!! Thanks something to think about.

A couple of sources. A sheet medal shop can make any size, or order from an equipment mfgr. I got mine from Thor Equipment for a 15" stack. It came with a 4' length of stack, I have no idea what it cost as I bought the new 3x8 pan set, hoods and stack all together. I do know that Leader would get 3-4X as much as I paid for the same quality.
