Hi everyones, i discovered the site few weeks ago and it seems to be a very interesting place to spend some times. I live in St-Georges, about 1 hour south of quebec city. I grow up around sugar house , family members gatering for the maple sap harvest(don't know if it's the right word). I have many great memories on this.

Good news for me, my father-in-law is looking to buy a piece of land with 500-1000 taps in the next few years so i will be able to share this great activity with my family too.

And if you guys need advice on the "production equipment" of maple syrup, i'll be glad if i can be of any help as i i've been welding for the last 11 years and the last 5 years on maple syrup equipment.

I am in a other domain now but i still weld stainless every weeks for a friend of mine. Always been fascinated by Tig welding and now that i can do it when i want and on what i want, i love it even more!

Anyway, glad to be here and sorry if my sentences looks funny at times.;)

Bienvenue! I have been to La Beauce a lot of times and even got an evaporator there. Are you from St. Georges West or East?
