I think I might have made a big mistake. I just installed roughly 50 IPL saddles that say require a 5/16" hole and I just realized I used a 3/8" drill bit. Is this going to be ok or will the all leak and need to be replaced??? What do you guys think? Has anyone else made this mistake before?? :(

I would wire tie them all if you have not yet. Then I would check them under vacuum (now) not right before sugaring season. Good luck to you and I hope things work out.

agreed if they leak then you need to replace them with a saddle with a bigger inlet fitting......lappierre supersaddles have a 3/8 fitting....sucks though if they do leak. good luck.

Yeah, I decided it's not worth the risk and I am just gonna replace them all. Gonna cost be a little bit, but at least this way I'll know it's right. Anyone want the 5/16" saddles now?? :)

1/16" oversized with a rubber gasket to seal the gap. Do not be confused by math not lining up and the real world. You should be fine. Remember it is vacuum not pressure.
