Ive looked at the threads on lighting and no one has said much on outdoor floodlights.are they ok to use in a sugarhouse?they must hold up ok being an outdoor system.they sell those 100 watt bulbs that are housed inside of a larger bulb.any thoughts?

We have several floodlights mounted on our sugar camp with no issues to date.

I put up two 8ft. sections of track lighting on either side of the evaporator. I then put indoor flood light bulbs in that are calp natural sunlight bulbs.........AND THEY ARE BRIGHT!!!!

just fyi, here's the requirement from the Vermont Maple Sugarmakers Association: Lights must be protected by slip-on tubes, shatterproof coating or shields, wherever they are exposed to sap or syrup. For a complete listing of sugarhouse sanitation, here's the link:
