Just bought a 2x4 hybrid pan from Jim Schumacher. now for the 10x12 sugar shack....

This pan, theoretically, will be 250% more productive than my flat pan....

Is if February yet???

Do you plan on doing a test boil, I am thinking about getting one for my 1/2 pint. I would love to hear how well it works.

I plan on doing a test boil next week. I will let you know how it works!!

I've been running close to 10gph on my current rig so any improvement will be a bonus!

Can't be any worse than the 2 Gal per hour I got last year on my "firepit". New Hobby on order. Good luck with yours.

first compartment with the drop flue started boiling 25 minutes in. I added the blower and had the full rig at a boil within 45 minutes. One hour test boil and I added 20 gallons of water...I'm sure I could get more out of it but I at least just doubled my boiling capacity!!
