RCMP in New Brunswick have a suspect they have questioned about the Maple Syrup Heist. No conclusion can be made by the story.

Here's the latest article from the Globe and Mail. Police have seized between 600 and 800 barrels of what may be some of the stolen syrup.

If this syrup was at a very high elevation, it could have been taken by Obama. I hear it has an affect on him! Al said so!!!LOL

This kind of heist would have required a truck and they mush have signed something when they put the syrup at the warehouse in New Brunswick. I can't see why they don't know who it was who brought all that syrup into the facility.

Not only would it have required a truck, it would have required 10 t0 14 trucks with that many barrels.

I count closer to 100 trucks if it was actually a million gallons, which is what one of those articles said. That's using tanker trucks with 9000 gallon capacity. The whole business seems really fishy to me. At the very least there are some major details missing.

One million gallons was a misprint, but you are right something is very fishy

If it wasn't a million gallons, how was it 30 million dollars worth of syrup?

Poor math, I suspect. Of course my insiders could be wrong, but their estimate is a million pounds.

From this article it appears that a significant amount of the stolen syrup has been discovered in the United States: http://www.laterre.ca/alimentation/du-sirop-recuperer-chez-loncle-sam/#.UKDzvkpCTZI.facebook
