I'm buying a 4 by 14 Smalls Brothers Evaporator, it was changed from wood to oil many years ago, to get it to my shack I need to take out the old brick, do I need to replace this brick? use the old brick? or just use blankets now? Thanks for the help.

If you're switching to oil you only need blanket.

The oil burner is set up for 11 gph, That just seems really high, where would I find out what the correct nozzel is for this machine?

That's about the right amount for a 4x14. Perhaps you may want to convert it back to wood, or you're going to want an RO to save fuel.

I burn 14 GPH in my 4X14 with a Max pan. My old 4X12 evaporator burned 10 GPH. Sounds like you are in the ballpark.
