1 You can't make it without sap...
2 The only thing syrup isn't good on, is the floor.
3 Sap comes by the drip, don't lose it by the gallon.....

All very true! Number two should be on a placard, displayed prominantly in every sugarhouse!! If you don't mind being qouted, I would display something like that.

I think there should be one on there about not using kitty litter pails or oil pails to collect sap.
I thought you put some on the floor so you won't slip

if none went on the floor then the dog wouldn't get any!!!! As our plates get licked like the dog finished it off!!! :)

I've also seen industrial floor wax/polish pails hanging from trees! I guess the lesser of two evils is the kitty litter!!
