IT'S about that time

well the time has come to finish everything up befor the white stuff covers the ground. well i still have alot to do
here it goes

Build sugarhouse
finish the fire wood
clean gathering tanks
clean pipe line
put wood in the sugar house
get the arch and then brick/blanket it
paint the sugar house in and out
and then install light
build generator build to keep it out of the weather
and alot of small thing

woo i got alot to do when you look at it

That's why I quit making lists. The lists get so long I can't figure how to prioritize them and then I get only a small portion done. I'm so far behind I can't even see the line.

today i cleaned all 105 of my buckets i bought in July,here is a list of things i still need to get done though
put up about 3 more cords of wood
move wood into the sugar house
hang cabinets in the sugar house
clean and setup gathering tanks
run a pump line
test boil water in the new 2X6
clean garage and get the tractor ready to move some snow and haul sap

I plan to start working in the woods in a week or two. I am still waiting for the temps to go below 40 during the day. My kids (all Alaskan) can't handle the heat and have already informed me that if I want their help it has to get colder. I need to set up a tank in the woods and the releaser because I will have 1500 more taps on the lower part of my woods. All tubing has to be put up and all saddle's need to be put in. The kids are going to make the drops in the house sometime soon. I have a few blow downs that need to be cut up and my neighbor is already asking if he can have them. I told him help yourself so I hope to not even have to start up the chainsaw:D. I hope we all have a great sugaring season. Good luck to all.

started cleaning gathering tank 1 down 2 to go and got all the wood to make the frame for the slab of the
sugar house but ever time i get something done i think of more to do oh man you can never win

sugar house is built,wood all done and is all in ,tanks are clean, the paint will have to wait until next summer
and the arch is almost paid for and ready to be shipped so all and all work is getting done but still got alot to do
befor the snow hits

You are getting a lot done Team40! We only have to string up another line, fix a bunch of tubing and get ready for next year.

yeah every day after work i try to do some and any free time i have i am working
on sugaring stuff so this is my second year so i still got alot to lean and i will be my
first year with my new 2x4 evaporator i will boil alot faster then my old setup
