Hey everyone,
I finally made my first batches of maple cream and it seems like a good way to extend the products we offer. The worst part of this is mixing the cream, I stirred the first batches by hand we did 1 pint at a time but I would like to explore the possibility of making a cream machine for in the future. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried or thought about using one of the hand crank meat mixers before. They pretty much have a stainless steel hopper and a set of rotating paddles. It kind of reminds me of a candy machine setup. My thought was that you might be able to modify the hopper to dispense right into jars. Best part is they are a little over a 100 bucks. Thanks
