I have been looking for a used leader 2x4 for months and haven't come up with anything yet, so I am looking at these that I feel are in the same evaporation rate but haven't heard anything good or bad about them.

Anyone have and experience with this evap?

It seems to be comparable to the lapierre model..

Any input is appreciated..

Thanks,

How many taps are you planning on having, now and later?

Well Yazer it would be probably be right around 20 gph or less.

I have Lapierre's 2x5' raised flue and running straight as an open pan I was getting about 25 gph, now I have a hood and preheater and it runs in the 28-29 range depending on the day.

The build quality on the Lapierre is what can be expected from a big name company, just not sure about the H2O.

I 'plan' on never going over 150 taps. I was doing 80 on a half pint, so I am broken in for long boil times....

I have looked at the H2O, and they looked good, well built. I just saw on the Sugarbush sight a ad for the H2O New for $2,600. not a bad price at all. And It's all stainless
