I have been looking for a new RO this year and have been offered a good price on a 600gph D&G. I haven't heard much about these units and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with them and how they like them? Are they a reliable piece of equipment? What about customer service with this company? Thanks!

what would you recommend for an alternative? I have got prices from leader, CDL, and Lapierre and the D&G was the cheapest quote I got...

We have the Lapierre 600 gph RO and are very pleased with the performance. No issues at all. Yes, you are going to pay more but keep checking around for folks who've tried the D&G so they can pass on their experience. Last thing you want is to have the RO broken down during the season.

Bes sure they are all the same unit as far as comparing price. Myself I would go CDL or Lap. I've never heard of a DG being cheaper. If you are going Lap. check out pricing from Rand Hill in Altona NY. Best pricing on a Lap. that I found ANYPLACE. CDL I would go through Chris Lanfear in southern Vermont good guy to deal with and very good pricing. Both numbers should be in the manufactures catalog.

I had the shaft on the high pressure pump break on the last day of the season.
I've been trying to get a price out of them for a new shaft and so far they have danced all around and won't quote me a price.
I'm getting really PI$$ED. I refuse to send it to them without a quote. I'm in the machine tool business and could make the
darned shaft myself, except that I've learned to respect the other guy's technology over the years, so I'm willing to pay a reasonable
price, but I won't give them a blank check.
I'll get another system before I do that.
See my thread in this section.
PS-1 I hope they come around and I have the pleasure of retracting this.
PS-2: Springtech, Airablo and now D&G are virtually the same. Airablo made Springtech for Leader and
recently D&G bought Airablo.

Greenwich, I made a call to both the CDL and Lapierre dealers that you recommended and asked for prices. I have not heard back from them yet, but am curious to see what they have to say. Thanks for the recommendation.

I know many guy's that had a CDL or Lapierre R/O and a D&G. They all says the D&G outperformed the 2 others. I thinks it's because of the recirculation that is different. But I think that the D&G is harder on the membrane. The recirculation of the CDL and Lapierre will help to have a better membrane life. But in a 600gph, I think they all have really good R/O. So If I'd buy a 600gph, I would check the inlet pump and the High pressur pump (in the D&G they use the High pressur pump for the recirculation so you have to consider 1HP for the recirculation) and choose the better ratio. D&G usualy put more pump power in there R/O. So at same price I would probably go with the D&G.

Thanks for the replies! If I order the RO before may 31st D&G will give me 20% off which brings the price of the 600GPH down to $10,500. Seems like a good price to me. No one else that I have talked to so far has been able to come close...First time RO buyer here, so a little anxious about the big purchase.

yards1520 I am also looking at getting a new ro this year. I priced out a600 gph. lapierre was $12550, cdl was $15,600 and springtech was 15,800 plus shipping of 300 on the springtech. I never thought to price out d&G, would you be willing to let me know where you got that good of a price from?? I would check into a d&g also if I could get a price that good. thanks

I was up there for the open house weekend and thats how I found out about the D&G deal. So I ended up buying the RO right from the dealer in Fairfax, VT. The phone number up there is (802) 524-9625 I have been dealing with a guy named Frank... Very good guy and easy to talk to. You should call up there as soon as you can and see what they can offer you. The thing that did make the RO a little cheaper is that I ordered the non-expandable version. All the prices seemed to be pretty reasonable though. Let me know how you make out.

We used to have a Springtech 600 (same as the D&G unit). Traded it in for a Springtech Elite 1000 a few years ago. We've been happy with it, but have also heard good things about the CDL and Lapierre units.
A few comments:
1. Like cars, the list price isn't always what you'll pay for it. Some dealers will negotiate more, some won't.
2. Follow all the recommended start-up, operating, shut-down, and maintenance procedures. You'll maintain the membrane life and be much happier.
3. Having a dealer nearby who can service the unit is important.

Thanks everyone, just placed a order on a 600 gph D&G. Any one looking at getting one today is the last day of the 20% off sale. I got mine for just under $10,000 so the DR is right they do negotiate a little. Thanks for all your help Mark.
