Has anyone sourced a stack base that did not cost a arm and a leg. I am building a new arch and i need a 24" stack base that does not cost hundreds of dollars. Any options out there???

Try going to your local HVAC shop. They can layout that fitting and bend it up. In less then an hour plus material.

yeah , just get one made or make one. i plan to make one unless i run into some money some how. the easiest way i think would be o make the base rectangular not an oval shape. and then just slant the sides up to the top, and have a piece of round metal at the top for your stack to sit on.

Wow, day late literally! I just sold my evaporator yesterday and gave the guy my spare 24x8" to 8" round base stack.

I think the maple company ones are actually fairle heavy gauge, like 20 or some even 18 ga, but even a 22 ga made by your local tin shop will last several years, especially if you keep it dry between seasons.
