Thinking about how I'm going to get power to my sugar house wondering if I really need 220 or not ???

Go for 220v and at least 50amps, more if you can. Down the road you will be very glad you did. Most RO's are 220 except for the very small units and some of those are 220 or 110.

defitely 220 for RO. most HP pumps are 3-5 hp and run on 220. my old machine needs 60 amps
