500592 the small jar on the left is a moisture trap (this is where the foam from milk would drop into). The one we had in our milk room had the same mount but not that fancy of a jar, we used a mason jar. This is a very nice complete unit. If I needed one i would bid up as high as $100.

500592 this is a beauty! I had one of these and sold it to a fellow "trader". The big ones like these actually work quite well! I think they are 2-3 gallons and fill from the side. Attach a manifold ahead of this one and you could do 500 taps max. $200 - 250 is well worth it. Although I sold mine for alot less.:)

Farm all I got a small one that dumps a gallon in a second or two because it's got the big dump valve on the bottom built in and even on 70 taps it dumped every three minutes.

Nice job lwdsm I had mine set up for continous vac but I felt I made the check valve would be sucked shut I am goon do some work on it this summer

Lastwoodsman have you run water through yet. Just go to your nearest tap and place it in a 5 gal. pail of water and that will simulate a sap run. Looks as though it will work! Nice.

how come nobody bid on the one surge milk releaser?? it was put on ebay twice that i know of..i planned on bidding on it the first time i saw it and got busy and forgot about it..i thought for sure it would be gone..i got it for minumn bid the second time..i was the only one that bid on it..i now have two of them.

I looked a long time for a small Bender and finally found one on ebay. Now this was when I 1st went to vac a few years ago. Then once I had my hands on that one I started to find them everywhere. So I decided to grab them when I could.
