Birch Tapping Underway

Put in about 350 taps over a few days starting on April 4. Evaporator running by the 9th, sap has been almost doubling in volume daily. Have some late running areas which we hope to include a little later.

First year and we're going full bore. No guts, no glory!

Gald to hear things are going for you guys. Lots of late nights I expect if you're anything like us. I work to rule though...nothing past midnight.,,,,but then I'm up again just after 6:00am so things stratto drag a bit in the second week. I'm sure you're going crazy right now trying to keep up. Keep us posted. We're pulling the remainder of our taps tomorrow but having an open house & pancake breakfast on Sunday/Earth Day.
