I have a 3 membrane (8 by 40s) older lapierre ro and it has electrical problems- lots of hot wires, on the pressure pumps, they trip out too.
Whats going on- I am running about 450 psi. I got some new membranes today XLEs, tommorrow I will install them- I am passing about 3 gal/ min of concentrate, the old nf 90s are tired.
I still have a lot of season to go up the mountains in Maine- the trees are running lots. Full tanks. This is usually when the season starts- it ends in May.

Get a good quality (Fluke or similar) clamp on amp meter and check amp draws on all motors and compare to rating plate on motor to see how much over they are drawing. They may draw less current at a little lower pressure.

Check both legs of power to earth ground for low voltage with machine at full pressure. A leg less than 110vac may cause motors to hog amps.

The new membranes will likely flow much greater at lower pressure (and amps) and may limp you along. I would check amp draw before you put in new membranes and then after with the new ones.

How far into the season are you? Did you get affected by the heat wave in March?
