Safe shipping of glass bottles

Have to ship 700 12 oz. Glass bottles to california. any ideas on cheapest and safest way.

By my quick math that's about 55 cases. With the weight of the glass and syrup that should be 1200-1400lbs depending on the type of bottle used. I don't think most bottle boxes are rated to stack more than 3 high when full so my guess is.......2 pallets shipped LTL carrier top load only with insurance will run about $ 800-900. That's using YRC's price structure which my wife says is the most competitively priced.
