I need some contacts for Cherry Veneer buyers. We have some very nice 8 ft to 16 ft lengths that we need to sell. I would appreciate some phone numbers of buyers in the area. Willing to travel a little if the price is right.

Thank you for you help

This is north of your target area but may be worth looking into

Try - Bradford Forest Products ( http://www.bradfordforest.com/ ) is owned by the Danzer Group http://www.danzergroup.com/ (International Wood supplier that deals in veneer)

where is PA are you? What type of volume are you talking about? I.E. 20 logs, 40 logs, 5 logs, etc. Are you confident they are a veneer spec? Sorry to pester you with questions but it might help me steer the right guys to you...

How many logs do you have? How long have they been cut. Most veneer buyers want at least a truck load in order to take a look.Must be fresh sawn. Interforest used to be Bradfords (danzer group)veneer co. Brad Smith used to be a buyer He was from lyons NY.Haven't dealt with them in 10-15 yrs. There's a guy named Eric Abernathy(spelling?) in northern PA , who buys alot of veneer in western NY sorry I don,t have his # . Try to get his # from our log supplier.

International Veneer Co is who I have worked with in the past. Not sure who their PA buyer is. Their buyer in NE is Jim Kenary out of St. J in vermont. We sold him $45K worth of veneer two winters ago. Sadly, most of it was sugar maple.

We are in Washington County. I believe we only have about 8 or so of the Veneer logs, some 8' lengths and some longer. And they are very nice and straight.

They have only been down a few weeks.
