replacing spiles annually on gravity tubing

I have looked at research on vacuum tubing and replacing spiles every year. I have a gravity system and wondered would replacing my spiles every year pay for itself.

Yes. If you even get a couple gallons of sap extra, it'll be worth more than the new spile.

Yup the difference between the sap I got when I replaced 3 yr old health spouts with stubbies and adapters on a gravity run was impressive.
