Well the sap just started flowing here and its warm, 50s at night and 70 during the day but I see in the forcast there are nights of freezing and thawing during the day, will the sap still be good?

Hello Tonka. It has been in the 70's here during the day and maybe 40's at night. The sap should still be okay if the trees aren't fully budded. Keep sap VERY cold, I have mine in the freezer, as I only have 8.5 lousy gallons. I am collecting around 3pm each day and it appears that the sap had just recently started to flow around that time. It shuts down in the evening and starts up again in the warm afternoon sunshine. ODD
