Was have a hard time keep a good boil on my 2x3 mason arch so I but a small fan in the clean out/vent..which worked great. Question is it possible to get thing to hot where I fouls warp the pan?

Also I put a damper in the stove pipe when I installed thinking I could regulate the boil has any one else done this with there small half pints?

it shouldnt warp the pan unless there is no sap in it. and i wouldnt use the damper, i have one on my stove pipe and never use it. just run it wide open and feed it wood.

I used a fan on Mason 2x3 that I had with no issues and currently boil on his 2x4 with a blower your pan will be fine. I find my boil is best at about 3/4 of an inch if you get over an inch you boil drops off rapidly.
