Late in introducing myself. Shawn here from Plainfield New Hampshire. Have had the bug since 2001 that started out as a hobby with three other friends and has turned into a year round hobby now. We started small with a sugar house we built ourselves, and have gone onto a bigger sugar house on my property. 250 taps out this year with 89 on pipeline. Last year was a banner year for us with forty gallons. This year not so good with twenty gallons to date bottled up. Looks like it might be coming to an end here. One of our friends made our arch as he is a welder and it looks and works like the real deal. 2x33 pan in the front times two (extra pan) and flat pan in rear . New sugar house in 2009 10x24. Have the bug big time and looking forward to many more years. Enjoy this site very much.:)
