I need to run a new feed from the breaker panel to the RO plug. My current feed is too small for my 250 and is tripping the breaker. A 600 is the largest RO I should need and want to size the new feed for it. Lapierre rates their 600 RO at 40 nominal amps. It must've come down because I thought it was ~45 amps. What size wire and breaker should I run? 60 amps?? The breaker panel is about 10' of wire to where the RO will plug into the wall and I'll wire in one those welding type plugs for the RO to plug into.
Thanks

check what the max over load amp on the RO is. Than split the diff for the breaker. My springtech 600 has a max over load of 72 amp start up of 44 amp and run amp of 34. So we used 60amp brecker & 6 ga cooper wire. If you use alum wire remember to down garde it. I.E. 4ga alum is = to 6ga cooper

I had to upgrade my Springtech 600 from a 40 amp to a 50 amp breaker.
