3 Boils - 240gals!!

Our new 3x14 D&G Thunderbolt is a sap boiling, syrup making aniamal! In 3 boils, (Sat,Mon,Tonite) it pumped out 6 Drums of liquid gold! (240gal) Even though it arrived towards the end of the season, its making up for it!!

do you have any pics? in the offseason does it double as a swimming pool? :) just kidding, sounds like one heck of a rig! glad to hear that someone is having a season, this early summer we're having here in MN is crazy. congrats!

That's great production. How many hours of boiling in total?

We ended the season with 325gals of syrup! In total, the switch was on 14hrs!! I agree, good production! Though there is room for improvement. I have already been on the phone with D&G about making it boil faster. Right now it averages about 220gals/hr of evaporation!
