My sister's new husband(2nd marriage) came to see the new rig running ,quickly looked it all over,then went on to explain to his children how everything worked,right up to the Marcland auto draw-off on the wall.He explained the top temperature was the temperature of the syrup boiling in the pans(he had heard me tell someone that just as he walked in),and the bottom temperature (set at 219.4) was the temperature of the fire!!!!!Extremely hard to keep a straight face:lol::lol:

Invariably, these people are no better off, financially speaking, than I am. Therefore my rejoinder to the know it all is "If you're so smart, how come you're not filthy rich?" which shuts them up every time. As an aside, this technique is best applied in front of a number of people.
