Great day for Maine Maple Sunday! Lots of people out and about! The road was newly graded and smooth, with none of the usual bumps and lumps. We had about 500 visit our small sugarhouse and sold everything we had and could have sold more! It'll be a wierd season. It seems like it's going to get very warm this week. Is this the end? We'll boil up some sap for ourselves now. I like the sun anyway. The sap we didn't get will produce some leaves anyway that will store some more energy that'll help out production next year. We'll see what happens. All in all it was a good time. I'm not quite as wiped out as I was after Maine Maple Sunday last year.
