cage tank ??

has anybody figured out how much sap per inch a 275 gallon cage tank holds?? i figured i,de ask before i do it myself..i have plenty of work to do now without doing more if it,s already been done...thanks!!

If I remember right on mine it was like 25 gallons at the six inch mark on my tanks.

Stick a 4 foot yardstick in it to the bottom. I think mine is 38 inches(??) to the neck of the filler. Divide 275 (or whatever the rated capacity is) by the depth in inches. Answer is gallons per inch. If I remember right, mine is 7.X gallons per inch. I try to get it level, but I think if you measure in the exact center of the tank, it will be an accurate average of the depth even if it is out of level.
