Just connected my masport m5 vac pump( for the first time ) and ran 2 gal of diesel through it to clean it before I run it for the season, I poured the diesel through the air intake and it went to the oil reclaimer and through the oil filter( or up to it at least) and from there I have a clear hose that goes up to the oilers on the vac pump the diesel does not go beond the filter. I called the guy that I bought the pump from and he told me that there should be a small amount of vac on the oilers if I remove the screws, so I did and there was no vac at all it was just the opposite it was blowing a small amount of air out of the opening just enough to lift the screw up in the air when its unthreaded all the way. any one have any idea as to why its not sucking the oil ( diesel) up, could it just be a pluged oil filter??? ( it cant be that easy!!!) please let me know, Thanks so much Paul
