Hey Twin:

Yes, sap ran great yesterday, too bad I am away to miss it. I am in Orlando right now.

My friend who also taps says he got over 40 gallons in one day.

It was the best sap run day this year.

But, I hope to be back with enough time to tap mself.

The weather in the Sault is back to cold for now.

Killing me to miss it.

Wondered how my northern fellow sapper was doin'
I have 105-110 taps out and got 75 gallons.
Brutal hand bombing it home in the mushy snow though.
Must have run thru the night since there wasnt much there yesterday.
Looks like sunday, Monday might be good but then very warm.
Nightime highs of +5 ??!!
Crop report was pretty close on this one, lets see how they predict in tomorrows report.

In the Sault today sap should run good freezing right now at 9a.m. but about to get warm for the day and stay warm. Maybe a all night run.

We had one boil Saturday and Parry Sound had a run Sunday that just finished.
Ive made 2 gallons, maybe another 3 gallons to cook.
THEN THATS IT ????
What is happening to the weather. 15 days of this heat will close us down..........
