Been on here reading about people who's season is just about over. Finally it looks like we might get our first sap yeeee haaaa let her run LOL.
Anyone else up here exited or is it just because im a beginner?

I am always excited, nothing to do with sap. LOL
Tapped a month ago, hoping it will extend a bit more.

First run here in Parry Sound, finally. I just hope it does not get too warm too fast.

well it ran got, about 32 gallon fron 170 taps. Hoping it gets a bit better then that.

well the elevation here is a little high always seems to be about 5 degrees lower here then it is when we are in town which is about ten minutes away. hopefully that means the season will stretch out abit for me. first year anyway probably going to be a bit of a screw up.

I put some of the taps in on Wednesday and I put the rest of my taps in today. I still needed snow shoes to get around in the bush! I hope the temperatures drop below freezing this week or this season may be a write off!

still about two feet of snow where I am in the bush but its raining right now. would like to walk on the ground but i know that will shorten the season. weather is pretty warm hope it cools downonly been colecting about 50 gallon of sap from 197 taps. first week is over hope we have a few more.
