Poll: What's worse anticipation of tappin' or 1st days collection?

I was just curious of what others may anticipate more starting tapping or collecting of sap on the first day? Or anything else you excitedly anticipate during the season?

For me I think it's actually the first days collection, always want overflowing buckets:)

This is my first year...So it was the 1st collection! Right now I'm hoping after this freeze the trees let loose for a big boil March 17th... Cause I'm getting a Leader Half Pint March 15th!:D

I'm gonna say anticipating the tapping, 'cause I keep running to the supply for more taps, more tubing, & adding more n more buckets thinking we're not gonna have enough sap to fill the orders! Somebody stop me please!!:cool:

I have a hard time waiting for the first good run. Never a complaint when it,s time to collect. A true labour of love.

This weekend is Northern Ontario's first big sap run. That is if the weather forecast holds true.

Since this is my first year tapping both waiting to tap and then waiting for the first run to happen have made me equally excited:) c'mon trees give me some sap!
