leveling bolts

Is there any reason for not welded a plate o. The feet of an evaporator and use a bog bolt.with 2the nuts to level

I just welded a 3/8-16 nut to the bottom of the legs, inside the angle, and used a regular hex head bolt, head down. Works fine on my concrete floor. What the heck is a bog bolt?

Sorry about the crappy spelling I ment bolts. I don't have a computer at home so I use my phone The older I get the smaller the buttons get. I also get a little tired this time of year. I boil on a 2 by 2 flat pan and have about 250 taps on buckets. I work 3 12 hour shifts a week so I am boiling in my sleep or sleeping at my job. If any one knows of an inexpensive evaporator in southern Michigan or northern Indiana let me know
