How big are your scoops your putting in? Last year, we went from a D&G 7" to the 10". Found out we had to use way more filter aid to fill the plates. Now we can get around 200 gallons through the press without changing papers if the press stays hot. pressure still stays low though compared to the 7".

We use 40 cups of filter aid at the beginning and then usually no more. Used 45 cups today and pushed 175 gallons through it.

Are you wetting your papers, when you put the press back together. And also try putting alot more scoops on your first pour off. I put 8 scoops in my first pour and then 3 every pour off after that. I have a 10 inch lapierre.
