Sap Color

So far this season sap has run crystal clear. Today the sap was the color of (excuse the anology) pee. What a change within one day!

Ok, based on rain we just had I assume this was due to rainwater.

Whenever it rains we usually end up with yellow sap in a few buckets... I believe it is the rainwater off trees and such getting in the bucket... we've boiled it down and it's fine.
