First year with filter press

Do you put the paper filters on both sides of the plates, it's a hand pump filter press with three banks. Also I filter about 4 gallons of syrup at a time with a few hours in between draws, do I need new filters each time I run a batch through the press ? Thanks for your comments :)

Thanks for your comments :)Yes, put papers on both sides. In my experience, if you let the press cool down much after your first filtering session, it is harder to filter.
