I stepped up from a turkey fryer this year and made a fuel oil tank arch. I boil on it outside. I have figured the rate to close to 10 gal/hr. My problem is it seems to boil a lot better with the door cracked about an inch. I have a good size draft door and a little 8in round house fan blowing in the draft door. My evaporator is 5 foot long and has a 36" fire box then I built a ramp to the stack outlet. I am running 8" stack and it is 6 feet long. Am I having a draft issue because it seems to be drawing the smoke good or do I need a bigger blower. I hate running the door cracked because when standing around it, the smoke always seems to be in your face.
