Hello all. I live in Woodstock located in the heart of the catskill mountains. My family has made syrup for over 60 years, however this is my third year sugaring by myself since my father passed. I have 242 taps out and about 230 buckets(mostly flat land where I tap). I boil on a 2x6 D&G with hood and pre-heater. I'm super excited to recieve my 5" Daryl hand pump. This web site is such a wealth of knowledge.
